Grapefruit Diet
On the grapefruit diet, the consumption of grapefruit
with each meal is suppose to increase the metabolism, burning
fat and enabling rapid weight loss. There is little scientific
proof in the claims of the grapefruit diet, and many nutritionist
believe this diet to be fraudulent.
The grapefruit diet menu consists of food items that you
can and can not eat.
Recommended foods include:
Unsweetened Grapefruit and Grapefruit juice, meat, pasta,
starchy vegetables, red onions, etc.
Foods that you are not supposed to eat on the grapefruit
diet include:
Lettuce, Potato Chips, White Onions, hot dogs, celery, etc.
